Water Operator Trainee
Looking for someone to train as a future water operator. Must be a hard worker that can work independently, is a self-starter, and is able to work outside in all weather conditions. Ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with an attention to detail and legible handwriting.
Candidates must submit an application to the office, at 24430 Hwy 271, Gladewater TX 75647, from 10am-2pm on weekdays.
Hours: Full-time with rotating week-end duties, and after hours as needed.
Compensation: $16- an hour to start
Requirements:
- Have and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License, with a safe driving record.
- Pass a background check
- Be able to obtain a minimum of a TX Class D Water Operator License
Duties include:
- Daily well checks
- Mowing and weed eating
- Flush water lines
- Repair and maintain system to rules and standards
- Participate in special projects, repairs, maintenance and other duties as needed
