Notice of Rate Increase

The Starrville-Friendship Water Supply Corporation (“Corporation”) Board of Directors held a public meeting on May 6, 2025 and voted to increase the monthly rates for water service for all members.
Since 1966, Starrville-Friendship WSC has worked hard to ensure high-quality drinking water continuously flows to your taps 365 days a year. Our costs to provide service are changing and our infrastructure is aging and in need of investment.
We are not alone; utility costs are increasing across the country. Just like any business, as costs of these inputs rise, our prices must rise to reflect the cost of providing the service.
The new rates will take effect 30 days after this board decision, on June 6, 2025 and the new monthly rates will begin starting with the June billing. The rate changes are as follows:
